Palak calls the youth to be smart entrepreneurs
Smart Bangladesh will be created by the hands of young people who are 'problem solvers' of innovative intelligence. That's why the government has already made the internet affordable and accessible for everyone. The State Minister of Information and Communication Technology has called for 'Country Branding' by pointing out that products are not enough in marketing which is becoming critical in building a smart Bangladesh by using this power. He urged the youth to become entrepreneurs.
He made this call while speaking as the chief guest at the discussion to mark the 92nd birth anniversary of the father of modern marketing, Philip Kotler arranged by the Bangladesh Band Forum on the role of marketing in creating a smart nation and smart citizens, at the Business Faculty auditorium of Dhaka University on Saturday.
Based on the presentation of the founder of Asia Marketing Federation, Harmawan Kertajaya, the state minister said, there is no need to be the best. Be different from everyone else; As the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken a journey of development from the edge to the center.
In his speech, Palak said that the ‘Surokkha’ app developed by 5 software engineers of the country has already received 5 million downloads. 150 million people were served through this app.

Urging the youth to submit business ideas to build a self-reliant smart Bangladesh, he added that special opportunities are being kept in this year's budget to build smart manpower.
Earlier, Professor Philip Kotler, the father of modern marketing, delivered a long presentation on the challenges of online marketing and what to do. After his speech, the cake was cut and wished for long life and healthy life.
The president of Asia Marketing Federation DR. Syed Farhat Anwar and Dhaka University professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman spoke among others. Radhen Osman Effendi, Councilor of Indonesian Embassy in Bangladesh and Bangladesh Brand Forum President Shariful Islam were present.
